This is a hand colored photograph of the Alcazar Hotel taken in 1902. Today this building looks much the same, with ornate courtyards and fountains facing King Street. The Alcazar was in operation from 1888 until 1931 when it was officially closed. Today this building houses the Lightner Museum along with various shops and cafes.
