The Back 40 Urban Café is a great local restaurant where you will find an eclectic mix of flavors from around the world, artfully combined to create some delicious food! The Back 40 Urban Café is situated among hanging oaks on a smaller back road in St. Augustine. Named for its location at 40 South Dixie Highway, this restaurant is a simple and straight forward, as its name implies, no stuffiness here! Owner, Brain Harmon, who has worked in the back and front of the restaurant business recently purchased Back 40. He always asked for a $2 Corona at Happy Hour with his tacos but the server informed him they were out. So he jokingly said he would buy the place so Harmon could always enjoy a Corona. Little did he know that just 5 months later he would make an offer and viola! Two dollar Coronas at Happy Hour every day!

A full menu is offered Monday thru Saturday. A Microbrewery is located on site, and the Back 40 proudly serves freshly brewed local beer. A full wine list is also available.
