The Limelight Theatre was co-founded by Anne Kraft and Jean Rahner in 1992 and moved to its present day location on Mission Road in 2001. Now in its 19th season, the Limelight has produced over 100 main stage shows including comedies, dramas, and musicals. The attendance to their shows keeps growing as it is a highly respected North Florida Theater Company.

The Limelight’s mission is to provide the highest levels of artistic achievement and yearlong opportunities for artistic expression toward the development of a lifelong appreciation of the arts to the widest possible audience. It is a non-profit performing arts organization committed to entertain and educate the people of St. Johns County and North Florida through professional quality theatrical productions and outreach programs.
