The Pirate Haus Inn offers economy, hostel-style rooms in Historic Downtown. This pirate-themed inn, located on the second floor of a historic building, focuses on providing weary guests with an affordable place to sleep after exploring the nation's oldest city.

To keep their prices low, they avoid extraneous amenities. There are no TVs in the rooms, but there is a TV in the common room. The hotel provides towels and basic toiletries, Columbian coffee, and a Belgian chocolate coin for each guest. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, board games, laundry services for an extra fee, and all-you-can-eat pancake breakfasts. A community kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and cookware.

Each room is pirate-themed, varying in sizes ranging from two to eight guests, featuring king-sized, queen-sized, and bunk beds. The Pirate Haus Inn strives to keep its rates as low as possible, leaving guests with more of a budget to explore the city. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms; there is a balcony for guests that smoke. Due to the location and age of the building, this hotel is not accessible to those with mobility limitations.
