By offering educational opportunities, many local and national preservation efforts, maritime archaeological research, and safeguarding the memories and priceless artifacts of the past the St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum have maintained the status of the lighthouse through the years. This safe harbor can tell many stories and you can explore it’s historical steps and museum to find out!

Walk up the 219 steps to the top and enjoy a breathtaking and scenic view of Saint Augustine from 165 feet above sea level! They offer educational and fun programs for children and adults. The old keepers house is also on the site and contains a large collection of artifacts that will make you feel transported to the past. The lighthouse is full of history and open daily for a fun family adventure.
