This beach has a steep drop off, heavier surf, and strong current due to its location near the inlet. Driving is permitted on Vilano Beach, however it is only suggested for four-wheel vehicles due to the thick sand along the shore.

Charter boat rentals, sailboats, kayaks, and other watercrafts can be rented from the pier at North Beach.
