Map to ancient city inn
Ancient City Inn at historic St. Augustine was originally built in 1910 by Charles and Maude Sequi. Charles was a descendent of the Minorcan family who first arrived in St. Augustine in the 1700’s. This truly unique and quaint bed and breakfast offers all the modern conveniences of today as well as the charm of a by-gone era. The owners today still believe the ghosts of the original Sequi family, namely their daughter, Martha Lee, likes to hang around so be sure to stay on the look out!

Ancient City Inn can accommodate up to 14 people and has a Fig Tree Cottage as well as two other rooms and a two bedroom suite. Also this b&b offers a large parking lot for guests to park for free, a commodity in the narrow streets of St. Augustine! Each room has a large balcony with a wonderful view of the gardens at the Ancient City Inn. However, if staying in isn’t for you this bed and breakfast is located in the middle of historic downtown!

From here you can go sight-seeing to all the exciting and historical places around town. Such as, Flagler College, the Castillo de San Marcos, Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse, Ripley’s Museum and Ghost Train tours and much more! And in true St. Augustine fashion, the Ancient City Inn has a story along with it. The owners of the inn would be happy to share the tale of the fun-loving ghost of Martha Lee that still plays around at the inn! Enjoy your visit to the nation’s oldest city, St. Augustine and relax at the pleasantly haunted and beautiful Ancient City Inn!
