At Marineland there are many interactive activities you can do with the bottlenose dolphins! Now a Dolphin Conservation Center, Marineland has developed educational programs that both inspire and connect guests with marine life. They offer summer camps, school field trips, and animal training seminars in addition to private events such as weddings, corporate functions, and neighborhood meetings. Originally opened in 1938, Marineland was first called Marine Studios.

Plan your dolphin interaction:

•The Quest: A 45-minuted private dolphin encounter for up to 4 people. You can swim and interact with Marineland’s dolphins in their deep water tank. Suitable for ages 13 and up.

•The Immersion: A 30-minute dolphin encounter in shallow and deep water tanks. Pet, play and feed dolphins during this encounter! Suitable for ages 5 and up, however children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

•Trainer for a Day- This program allows guests to see what it’s like to be a dolphin trainer! Hangout with Marineland’s trainers and learn what it’s like to teach and train dolphins. This is a six hour activity which includes over an hour of swimming with the dolphins. Suitable for ages 13 and up.

•Discover Dolphins: A 20-minute interaction experience. Feed, touch and interact with bottlenose dolphins in Marineland’s shallow water tank. Suitable for ages 5 and up.

•Dolphin Designs: Create a work of art with the dolphin! This activity allows you to interact with Marineland’s dolphins and create a truly unique and unforgettable piece of art. Suitable for ages 5 and up.

•Touch and Feed: This activity allows you to feed and interact with bottlenose dolphins. Suitable for ages three and up. Reach in and pet a dolphin in Marineland’s shallow water tank.

•Kayak Tours: Ripple Effect Eco. Tours and Whitney Lab have teamed up to offer educational kayak tours of Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve. Learn how to kayak fish or get an educational overview of wildlife conservation in Florida. Great for groups and suitable for all ages!

Also, Marineland offers a new Behind the Seas tour! This tour will take you behind the scenes and below the deck tour their facility and learn more about Marineland Dolphin Adventure’s unique and fascinating history spanning nearly 75 years, their pioneering work in aquatic animal research and the advancement of life support systems for aquatic environments and enjoy their new exhibits featuring live animals of the Southeast region of the United States.
